Martina Perko, Biltmore Spa Director, graduated from the University of Tourism in Slovenia with a degree in Hospitality and obtained esthetician licenses in Europe and California. Growing up in Europe — where wellness vacations and holistic healing are common practices — Martina Perko acquired an understanding and passion for integrating natural remedies and healing elements with spa treatments. 

Perko’s career path in the spa industry began at the Givenchy Spa and La Quinta Spa in California. Eventually, her talents led her to work with Rosewood hotels: Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas and Canyon Ranch Spa at Gaylord Orlando.

Martina Perko ensures that her staff of skilled technicians at the Biltmore Spa is dedicated to providing world-class treatments while educating guests on individual wellness, providing support and creating customized spa programs for spa guests. In addition to the diversity and quality of services offered at the Biltmore Spa, Perko emphasizes the selection of unique product lines and an innovative menu of treatments.

As the spa industry is constantly evolving and education is imperative to honing one’s skills, Perko always vacations at luxury spas around the world, learning about different treatments and techniques, which she incorporates into her own repertoire.
